FAQs for Potential Tenants

Can I tour today?

To minimize intrusion on current tenants, we require 24 hours’ advance notice for all tours. Same-day or next-day tours are not available.

Can I move in tomorrow?

Moving in the next day isn’t possible due to the required steps. Here’s how the process typically works:
1. Tour the property
2. Submit your application (credit and background checks included)
3. Pay the security deposit
4. Sign the lease
5. Move in
This process takes a minimum of 3 days, assuming the room is available. A tour is highly recommended before signing the lease. If the room is available, you will be able to move in immediately after paying the security deposit and signing the lease.

Do you accept pets?

We love animals! However, pets are not allowed at this time.

Can I have a 3 or 6 month lease?

We offer 12-month leases that automatically convert to month-to-month afterward. Short-term leases (e.g., 3 or 6 months) are not available.

What is the application process?

We use Innago, a trusted rental management platform, to conduct credit and background checks. These checks help ensure the safety and reliability of all tenants.
The cost is approximately $35, paid directly to Innago. Results are typically received within 1 business day, and we’ll follow up with you promptly after review.

FAQs for Current Tenants

Is there a tenant referral program?

Yes! If a current or former tenant successfully refers someone who signs a lease, they’ll receive a $100 reward per new resident. Please contact us to refer a potential tenant!

“Successful referral” means the referred person signs a lease.

How do I report maintenance requests or damage?

Please text or call the landlord using the phone number provided in your lease agreement. This number connects to the landlord’s cell phone and an emergency backup contact.

How do I give notice that I am moving out?

If you’re on a month-to-month lease, you must provide written notice (email, text, or mail) at least 30 days in advance. Notice must be received no later than the first day of the month, and tenancy ends on the last day of the month.

Can I run a business from home?

No. The property is strictly for residential use. Running a business or using the address for business registration or mail is not allowed.
